From 1965 until 1970, I Dream of Jeannie, one of the most popular fantasy comedies on television, delighted viewers with its fanciful blend of humor, romance, and magic. The program, which starred Larry Hagman as astronaut Tony Nelson and Barbara Eden as the endearing genie Jeannie, became a mainstay of popular culture.
