After 18 years of marriage, NCIS star Sean Murray and his wife, Carrie James, are divorcing. Carrie filed for divorce on March 18, 2024, citing irreconcilable differences and seeking sole physical and joint legal custody of their two children, Caitlyn, 16, and River, 13.
In a recent filing, Sean requested joint physical and legal custody and proposed they each cover their own attorney fees, contrary to Carrie’s request for him to pay her legal costs.
The couple met at a Halloween party in 2004 and married in November 2005. They celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary in November 2023, with Carrie posting heartfelt photos reminiscing about their life together.
This news comes as Sean, the longest-running cast member on NCIS, marked the franchise’s 1,000th episode. Despite his professional success, the actor now faces a challenging personal chapter.
